GAMIFICATION

Sim City 2000 is a city-building simulation video game.

The player builds the city from scratch with the city's population only growing if the player builds:

  • Power Plants

  • Electricity Lines

  • Roads

  • Water pipes

  • Fire Stations

  • Hospitals

  • Schools

  • Colleges

  • Police

  • Industry

  • Commerce

  • Housing

  • City Beautification

  • Theme Parks & Stadiums

However the player does not have unlimited money and must spend the city's money wisely. As the "President" of the game there are many pressure groups wanting you to spend money on them.

 

CHALLENGE: To not lose all of your money, grow the population and to create a vibrant and sustainable city!
