Week 4 Activities

The Short and Incredibly Happy Life of Riley

RESPOND: Either draw a. What your ideal life would look like. OR b. Draw the place where you would be the happiest. Make it as colourful, or bland, or full or empty as you like. It can have a lot of things, or a few things, it can be indoors, or outdoors…,be creative, use your imagination…

SEARCH: What/Whereabouts in the world do most people have the most electronic devices (computers, ipads, tablets, iphones/androids, TVs etc.) Map this. What countries undertake what past times? Choose 10 countries and list their TOP 5 past-times.

WRITE: What do you need to be happy? What could you not do without? Are these things qualities, or things? What things do you want, and what things do you need? Can you tell the difference? What is the difference? OR answer - What does happiness mean to you? What does it mean to other people (think about what it might mean for your parents, grandparents or other people in your life)?

Present your answers in a creative way.

  2. What action can I assist others to take about this issue?

You need to write a SUMMARY of your two biographies that include all the important information about your famous person (who are they, why are they famous, where are they from, what are they doing now, what is your opinion of them and any other relevant info).
